This place suits me perfectly, offering excellent wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a cozy bar area. I still remember how the staff helped me retrieve my forgotten earpods. Highly recommend for a stress-free stay. I'm coming back for a holiday.

missingWrote a review on Nov 23artistic decorcraft cocktailspoor airflow
The hotel features unique artwork that gives every corner a vibe akin to a gallery, making it a visual treat. The bar area, more than just a hangout, serves up signature cocktails that capture the local spirit, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
The building's age shows in the airflow situation. condensation on windows in February screams discomfort. A windowless room can feel particularly stifling, especially with a hideous carpet that traps smells and dust. Additionally, the layout in some rooms leads to awkward plug placements and minimal counter space, making everyday tasks a nuisance. The bathroom lacks sufficient hot water during peak times and the TV struggled, necessitating a technician's visit. Morning noise from the cleaning cupboard can also disrupt your sleep vibe, which is a shame given the hotel’s otherwise appealing atmosphere.

A decent fit for exploring New Orleans with high value for money. Really enjoyed the unique candlelit lobby and portraits set the tone for the city. Make sure to check out the creative cocktails at the bar.

The lobby bar was a highlight! Cozy vibe and nice drinks 🍹. However, the elevator was out of order, which made getting around tough.

I had a nice stay at the International House. The staff offered warm, friendly service, which made me feel welcome right away. The location is stellar, just a short walk from the French Quarter but in a quieter area. I enjoyed the unique decor and artistic vibe of the hotel — definitely added to the experience. My room was comfortable, with a spacious bathroom that was well maintained. However, I noticed some issues with room maintenance and cleaning. While the lobby and common areas were clean and inviting, my room had a few minor cleanliness issues. The air conditioning didn't work perfectly. it struggled a bit to keep the room cool enough. I also really missed having a restaurant on-site. the bar was nice but not a full dining option. Overall, I would consider staying here again, especially due to the great staff support and location.

I had a great time staying in a Queen Room, and the free bike rentals really helped me explore the city at my own pace. I enjoyed relaxing at the outdoor hot tub and taking advantage of the wellness centre after my long days. The lobby was beautifully decorated, but the rooms could use a little upgrade for a more modern feel. 😍

missingWrote a review on Aug 15vibrant atmosphereunique décorsignature cocktailscramped room
The lobby features unique décor with contemporary art, providing a vibrant atmosphere that reflects local culture. Signature cocktails at the bar create a relaxed social environment, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploration.
The room setup felt cramped, lacking a window left it feeling a bit claustrophobic for my liking. While the bar atmosphere is fun, service at times fell short, with delays in getting drinks. The absence of a restaurant on site limited dining options, especially for late-night snacks. It's also worth noting that parking fees seemed a bit on the high side, adding up quickly when staying longer. Furthermore, some maintenance issues were evident, including stained carpets and outdated bathroom fixtures.

The staff helped me when I lost my cards and phone. They made me feel welcome and went out of their way to provide local advice. I appreciated the friendly service at the bar, which added to the experience.
The room was small with no window, and there were limited services on site. There was no restaurant or room service, only coffee in the morning.

Awesome vibes with a few hiccups
We stayed for 3 nights in a Double Room with Two Double Beds. The ambiance was really nice and the showers were super modern! Ray at the front desk was a lifesaver, super helpful with local tips. A bit of a bummer that only one elevator worked the whole time, though. Snagged a drink at the bar, which was pretty chill. Overall, not bad.

The art gallery with original street art was a delightful surprise and a highlight of our stay. The cozy bar area featured a knowledgeable bartender who provided us with an engaging history of the building.
The amenities were decent but could use some enhancements.

Loved the charm and character! The lobby feels like a stylish living room, perfect for unwinding after a long day.
But trying to get in during the rain was like auditioning for a wet t-shirt contest—without the t-shirt!
